The Colorado Springs Fiction Writers Group takes care of its group issues and guidance at our regular board of director meetings. These meetings are open to CSFWG officers, members and the public at large.

Meetings run, on average, 45 minutes to an hour. At the meeting agendas are passed out and operates in the following manner:

• Call to Order - When we officially start the meeting
• Officer Reports -
  • Officer Saturday Group - Covers how many members attended, how many submissions were given, how many visitors attended, group questions, problems/concerns, etc.
  • Officer Sunday Group - Covers how many members attended, how many submissions were given, how many visitors attended, group questions, problems/concerns, etc.
  • Officer Monday Group - Covers how many members attended, how many submissions were given, how many visitors attended, group questions, problems/concerns, etc.
  • Officer Tuesday Group - Covers how many members attended, how many submissions were given, how many visitors attended, group questions, problems/concerns, etc.
  • President - Covers overall group health, publicity, complaints, etc..
  • Vice-President - Covers anything the President may have missed or is unaware of.
  • Treasurer - Covers the financial health of the group.
  • Editor - Covers articles for the CSFWG website (including submissions), stories/novel chapters/poetry submitted for podcast, editing the website's content.
  • Webmaster - Website design, up-time, completed web-based projects, forthcoming web-based projects, website health, visitor/page view/hits information, networking.
• Projects - Lectures, events, contests, classes, etc. are planned, discussed and progress reviewed.
• Old Business - Projects, goals, events, contests, etc. which are ongoing.
• New Business - Projects, goals, events, contests, etc. scheduled to start or initially brought up at the previous board of director meeting.
• Floor Business - Any issue brought up that's not listed on the day's agenda.
• Announcements - Upcoming meeting dates for the business, saturday, sunday and monday groups.
• Closing - The meeting is officially ended.

If there are any question during the meeting we encourage the person to speak up.
