In 2003, I re-retired and began to write and paint full time. Since then I have “finished” three books and am partway through three more, though I have yet to sell any of them. My primary focus is a historic fiction series set in sixth century Britannia, which I have been researching and writing for since 1987. Recently, I jumped genres and started work on several speculative fiction novels.
My painting sales, on the other hand, more than pay for my materials. My watercolors have been juried into several national shows, and currently collections of my art are displayed at the Summit House Coffee Shop and Whistling Pines Gun Club, both in Colorado Springs.
