The Colorado Springs Fiction Writer's Group Sunday group was established in mid-2003, splitting the original Monday group by mixing established members and newer members within both groups. Meetings are held in the community room of Barnes and Noble Booksellers at the Citadel Mall (scroll down for directions, phone number and directions). Meetings are on the last Sunday of each month (with the exception of holidays) from 3-6PM.
The CSFWG offers the public additional groups which meet on different days and times. Each of these groups is comprised of different members representing multiple genres.
The dynamics for all of the CSFWG groups focuses on having writers from differing genres in attendance. This allows submitting members to receive critiques from a multitude of backgrounds, interests and styles. Non genre-specific critique groups, like the CSFWG, give writers opinions, insight and suggestions coming from peers who often write in another field, allowing critiqued authors to better hone their work.
